The Tale of the Chicken and the Rooster

Would you believe me if I told you a newly-wed ornamental chicken and rooster couple moved their life all the way to France together? It’s true, I promise.

7 years ago, Jim (the ornamental rooster), and Jan (the ornamental chicken), upped their life and took it to the Charente region of France where they spent day in, day out living their life in the fresh, open air fields, without a trouble in the world.

After all of these years of happily roaming the scenic French countryside, this seemingly perfect ,marriage started to hit the rocks…

The weather became consitently wet and wicked, thus making Jim and Jan naggy and the bickering became unbareable for the sweet pair. After so many months of being out in the fields in these trecherous conditions, both Jim and Jan have come to the decision we never thought they would, and that is to (heartbreakingly) go their seperate ways.

Both the Chicken and the Rooster are still on the mend from this devastating turn in their lives, and are hoping to find loving new owners to keep them safe in the warmth of their tender loving home.

Jim is still a deeply loving rooster with a big heart, even behind the sadness in his eyes after the special spark and touch of his marriage was lost. He is still destined to love and be loved whilst bringing warmth to someone’s home.
